Our Land
The farmhouse has its own vineyard, which allows us to produce
high quality sangiovese and cabernet wines
. The sangiovese wine is well appreciated and its name comes from the name of a monk. The wine was called "Sunguis di Jovis" = Sangue di Giove (Sanjovese). Thanks to the intelligence and attention of its producers, when the years passed this wine became the symbol of the "Romagna land". The Sangiovese grape, combined or alone, is fundamental for the nation-wide production of famous Italian wines such as
Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti,
and many others.
Besides the wine,
our olive trees bring to our table the best biological olive oil
. The oil is made from the first press in the cold. This method produces less oil quantity but the highest oil quality. The olives come only from our biological trees and are picked by our own personnel, which allows us to warranty that the olive is fresh and best in quality. Transportation of the olives to the place where they are processed is always done by
a member of our family
